Their Dublin office is home to hundreds of employees across multiple departments and floors, making it essential to maintain a culture of safety, preparedness, and compliance.

The Challenge

Zurich wanted to find a practical and engaging way to raise health and safety awareness across its Dublin operations. While compliance standards were already in place, the team saw an opportunity to go further — empowering staff with real confidence in responding to emergencies.

Our Solution

Olive for Training designed and delivered a custom First Aid Awareness and CPR Workshop tailored specifically for Zurich Insurance’s Dublin office.

The Olive team collaborated closely with Zurich’s Health & Safety leaders to ensure the session would be practical, compliant, and engaging for all participants.

The training ran across two 45-minute sessions, accommodating more than 40 participants in total. Led by Luis Santana, Olive’s Lead Instructor and Business Development Manager, the workshops combined live demonstrations, group participation, and hands-on CPR practice using training mannequins and AED devices.

The Results

The initiative was a huge success, generating enthusiasm and awareness across all levels of the organisation.

• Over 40 employees took part in the sessions
• 12–14 attendees practiced CPR during the workshops
• Staff expressed strong interest in pursuing full First Aid certification
• Zurich is now planning additional CPR and emergency-response training days
